Pivoting With Ease Into Creativepreneurship

Back in 2017 Steven and I started to get to know one another.

We were working out of a Studio in Burbank California.

We were both working what many would call our "dream jobs".

The jobs checked all the boxes and gave both of us everything we would want. 

But over time we both discovered we were both over our jobs.

We would be doing this exact same thing for years, if not the rest of my time with these companies.

The tipping point was on my 35 birthday.

I was on location for a video shoot and my plans to celebrate got all screwed up because of this video shoot.

I realized that I would be 40 in 5 years and if I kept my current course I'd be working a dead-end job.

I essentially worked a corporate America job with a flashy music logo on the front. It was completely B.S. and I knew I needed to leave music, audio, and social media for a long time to pull myself together.

It just came down to me saying "wtf am I doing and what do I hate the things I used to love, and why am I always so tired and miserable????"

I gave my notice and left within the coming months.

Steven had the same epiphany and soon made a similar decision.

Steven and I both had creative jobs but realized as creators you need to create your own destiny.

We needed a course correction.
